  1. If the places are honest and follow the law. .. NO WHERE should allow u to copy it. I worked at a photo lab in college, and I know how angry people would get when I said no, but it wasn't worth losing my job and being fined up to $20,000 to allow someone to break the law! Good luck but your best bet would be to illegally copy it on a home computer, or to ask the company for permission to make copies. Generally if the photos are several years old (5or more), they will send you a letter giving u permission to copy them legally.

  2. buy a scanner and copy them yourself you can buy a good printer and good paper, even if it has the proof sign on get photo shop and edit it out. good luck.

  3. sometimes you can go to a portrait studio and they will copy them for you for cheap. i'm in college now but when i was a senior and took my senior pics, we were instructed on the back not to copy the pictures but when i took them to the studio, they made my copies for me

  4. Copying them would be illegal.  The photographer is trademarked.

  5. We usually just use our home scanner, it's not always better, but it's cheaper with no questions asked.

  6. It is illegal to copy pictures that are copyrighted.  You aren't going to be able to find any business that will do it.  They would be breaking the law and so are you if you copy them with your scanner.

  7. do it at a CVS they have those machines where you do it yourself

  8. go to the library, office, somewhere with a good scanner and try, about 10-15 cents a copy. =) I know what you mean, sometimes my mom says to do that... *rolls eyes* lol

  9. you can only get away with this at home but you do need good paper.

  10. Its probably better just to order extra copies. Its not that expensive. You can contact the company that took them in the first place and order extras. Better than breaking the law in my opinion.

  11. I agree with the person who said you can do it yourself at CVS.  They come out pretty good, too.

(How in the world can a company tell you that you can't copy your own child's school picture?  Just because a law exists doesn't make it reasonable.  I think that most people are generally law-abiding but this is ridiculous.  I don't think there's a person on this planet who hasn't copied a CD for a friend.  That's not "legal" either.)

    Whew.  Sorry for the rant.

  12. Copying them is illegal.

Tell me, how would you feel if the breadwinner in your family was unable to earn enough to feed you and your kids because other people were out there illegally doing their job but not charging for it?

  13. buy the good "premium" photo paper and do them at home, i know exactly how you feel, they will come out really well on good paper.

  14. well if u go to kinkos just tell them the sze of the picture u wanna copy they dont care about the otehr stuff bc ure the one who will do it and u just gotta pay for it
