Coping with the loss of a friend.?

My best friend just moved to california yesterday, and I fear I will never see him again.

this can be a very difficult situation, but it happens sometimes and you need to cope with it in the right way.

when my best friend died, i had couldnt stop thinking about him. i told my psychiotrist about my problem, and he didnt help me at all. I played a visit to his grave and dug him up, just to see him again. I then stole his body and stuffed it with hay and put it in my room. Sometimes, I even m********e to it. (me and my friend had a very intimate relationship).

I know hes looking down remembering all the times he had, and hes very proud of me for coping with his death.

I recommend this to help you, it certainly helped me.

Get his new phone number and call him every everning! I remember when my friend moved almost moved away to North Carolina, I cried, but I knew I would still be able to contact her! Visit him once every year over the summer, or breaks that you have, when you have time to visit him! Tell him to get a Myspace maybe, so he can put up pictures of himself and his friends! Or just email him and have him email pictures! Then you can see him all the time! you can also Instant Message him, so ask him if he has or will make a screename on AIM or any instant messanger you have! Moving is really hard, but you shouldn't worry. You can e-mail, text, call even write to him. Don't forget, there may be times that he might visit back. Though for now try to help him since everything for him is changing. Plus you can keep tabs on what he's missing. Hope this helps. Good-luck!

The internet is great you know. You can email, web cam chat, aim, anything, really.

Stay in touch with your friend as much as possible, I know it must be hard to have a friend move away. Maybe you can even consider going to california to visit him for awhile? :]

There's always email and instant message programs like AIM.  If you have a Mac you've got iChat and a camera in your computer - you can video chat that way.
