Copy and paste msn name.?

Whenever I copy and paste

It works on yahoo, but when I do it on msn it always turns out like this

� how can I prevent this I want a nice name lol.

MSN/Live messenger doesn't allow ASCII characters for some reason, not even when typing. Not sure why.
