I recently purchased an external hard drive for my pc. I want to put all of my various cd-roms (games, programs, etc) on the hard drive and ditch the whole cd thing. What is the best way to do this? Thanks in advance for answers.

  1. the easiest way ~put cd-rom/s in burner~when PC recognises cd~click on "my computer " then click on the cd icon showing on the" my computer window" click on "open".then click on the icon of the game ~do not release the button you have clicked.then just drag and drop the icon to your desktop.

the game file is now on your computer.

    hope this helps.

  2. You can copy and run game from the disk but they will not work if the games p****y detection is able to notice it. and most does

  3. use nero or similar program to create ISO,s, then install daemon tools lite to create virtual cd roms, these will play the ISO,s and it can be set to defeat any encryption on the disc,s.  heavily  encrypted discs may have to be copied with blindwrite or cone cd.
