  1. dvd fab is all u need

  2. This DVD Ripper is the most powerful one that I have used before. It has great power to rip DVD to video of all formats. You can free download here:

Other DVD ripper you can get from:

Unbiased reviews and side-by-side comparisons of DVD Ripper give you enough information to research the ins and outs of a particular product.

Also, you can search some other software:

  3. I recorded some movies from sky to video a while back and my dvd recorder would not copy them from the video, gave copy protection notice on screen. I purchased  a hauppauge usb tv dongle (WINTV-HVR 900H) comes with cable to connect composite video and svhs. I copied the films to the pc and burned them to dvd. maybe try a simular thing with your archos.

  4. You won't beable to remove that protection because when the archos records off certain channels (for example HBO), those programs are copy protected so that people don't record it onto dvds and sell them. Most other channels are not copy protected so it is possible to move them from the archos to the computer but since you got yours from a movie channel it probably has the protection. The archos keeps the protection so that you can only watch it on the device and can't make copies of it. You can try dvd decrypter which is a free program and set the archos as your input instead of the dvd drive but that probably won't work. Good luck.

  5. wish i could help but i dont know.... did you try stuff like magic dvd ripper???
