Copy write infringement. ?

Question

I know you can buy a cd/dvd and burn it to your laptop.

But, I have a two disk set of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, my friend hasn't ever seen the show. Can I send her an episode from the DVD?

Would that be infringing on copy write? Or would it only be infringing if I sent the entire disk to her?

I just want to send her one episode. Is that ok or illegal?

Some American laws are sketchy to me. I am Argentine btw.

Yes, it is copyright infringement. "Selling" does not mean you have to actually get paid for it. Just transferring it to someone is indeed "selling" for the purposes of copyright.  It is indeed illegal.

You would technically be breaking the law.

But for a one-time deal, you probably won't get busted.

HOWEVER, it is COPYRIGHT infringement, NOT "copy write."
