Copyright infringment?

Question

If i had a hockey table league with real hockey team names like in the NHL would this be copyright infringment? Also if i had a finals game with the team that won the NHL table hockey game play the NFL table hockey league in a final using a 7 game series combinding both NHL and NFL teams would this be stealing?

If it's for your non-commercial use, then you're probably fine.

If you're trying to sell/market this product, then this is an entirely different issue.

The NFL, by the way, is fairly well known for their rather stringent enforcement of their legal copyrights.

no the wont sue for just playing a game but if you feel bad about it call it th NHA natinol hockey accosiation

I don't believe so, at my rink for in-house, I've been on the River Rats and the Wheat Kings. They also use NHL teams for the younger kids. When my brother was a mite, he was on the Blues.

I wouldn't worry to much about it. Imagine if they tried to enforce something like that?!
