Copywriting VS. Art Direction?

Question

What's the major difference between both? I'm pursuing an AA in Advertising this August and am free to choose a specialized area to focus on. It's either copywriting or art direction. Which is the one that involves creative writing (such as writing taglines, punch lines etc)? I'm guessing it's Copywriting??

hey i wanna know which is better as in for a person whose pretto good with concept developement nd like makin the ad in a totful innovative way..the video part of it!so i gues theres a glimpse of both then!but ain able to fix ma leg amng bth!plz help!both copywriting nd art direction sems to be the ryte field!besides im creative nd al that but ma way of writing ..ive sen is pretty amatured!i mean not clear cut nd strengthened with wrds!plz help
