Coquet to compete in the Height of Fashion Stakes at Goodwood before going to Epsom
The Hughie Morrison trained, Coquet, is likely to compete in the Height of Fashion Stakes - which is due to take place at Goodwood on 24th May, 2012.

The daughter of Sir Percy, out of mare One So Marvellous, is Morrison’s choice for the Investec Oaks, which is scheduled to take place at Epsom.
The three-year-old filly shows immense promise as she notched two victories in her last three starts, and is aiming to complete a hat-trick in this race.
The bay filly last competed in the E B F "Mount Nelson" Montrose Fillies' Stakes at Newmarket on 29th October, 2011, where she defeated the Mark Johnston trained, Abishena by ½ length.
The trainer commented that fillies have a temperament to change, sometimes for the better and sometimes for worse. He believes that she has the capability to cover large distances. He also commented that:
"Coquet is a likely runner in the Height Of Fashion Stakes. It has been hard work with a lot of the fillies this winter so she has taken a bit of time to come to hand. Ideally, I would have run her before now, but she worked nicely enough on Friday
morning and, all being well, she will head to Goodwood.”
Coquet will have to bring her best to the track, as she is up against some of the runners who will pose a serious threat to her chances of winning.

Among these runners, Nayarra might have what it takes to defeat her.
The daughter of Cape Cross, out of mare Massarra, who is currently under the training of Mick Channon, emerged triumphant from the Group 1 Premio Gran Criterium at San Siro, Italy, on 9th October, 2011, where she was led to
victory by rider, Martin Dwyer, over race favourite, Rosa Eglanteria.
The track at Goodwood has been labelled good to soft, and clerk of the course Seamus Buckley commented that:
"The course has dried out remarkably well since last week. We have had some nice drying days, which meant we were able to get on to the course to cut it and dry it out.”
