Cordless Phone Says out of Range...How do I put it back in?

It doesn't do this all the time, but sometimes it will cut out of the conversation and tell me I'm out of range. when I haven't moved at all. I usually just have to call back....but last night it told me this for two hours, I went to sleep, and in the morning it was fine. Does anyone know if I can put it bakc in on my own? Because I needed to make a VERY important phonecall....also, I need to know if someone who doesn't know about the phones could make it say "out of range" becuase my parents didn't want me on the phone...so I wondered if it was their doing.

All they have to do is block/remove the signal from the base unit and it will say out of range.

You should do what your parents say.

DID U TRY PUTTING IT BACK ON THE CHARGER? THAT MIGHT WORK, IF NOT U NEED A NEW PHONE! IT ISN'T POSSIBLE FOR SOME ONE TO DO IT ON PURPOSE!!!
