Cordless phone battery types?

I am looking for cordless phones for my home. Are there phones that use batteries similar to cellphones? If so what are some brands that carry them.

cordless phones batteries are diffident cell phone batteries. when you buy a cordless phone look on the box. it will tell you what kind of battery you will need to buy. if the one goes bad. you do not need to buy the batteries. they come with the phone or phones.

Every manufacturer seems to think every product needs a different size battery.

I wouldn't worry about matching one to a cell phone battery. Cordless phone batteries cost about 25% as much as cell phone batteries and as a rule last a lot longer.

Your buying decision should be based on the phone and not the battery.
