What exercises should I do for my abs,lower back and obliques for martial arts?

  2. You can try weighted crunches. The pull down rope that you use for triceps at the gym is great for abs. You get on your knees holding on the the rope with both hands go into a crunch motion bringing your elbows to your knees making sure you feel the motion in your stomach. Start at around 50 pounds and work your way up. Also the nautilus machines for your back I think are safer then free weights, it makes your motion's correct also. Good Luck
