it's a wonderful island, my parents have been there and i really want to visit it! it has so many things for sightseeing, wonderful beaches....

Corfu is beautiful.  Very green due to the substantial rains that fall in the winter.  

The best beaches you will find on the west coast, the ones on the east tend to be pebbly.  Also the sea is much more choppy on the west coast and much more fun.  

Much is being done to improve the roads and pavements are being made in some areas.  Having said that, if you go there and intend on getting a bike be very careful, there are still many pot-holes.  Always wear a crash helmet.

It's much quieter than in past years due to the big drop in tourism but if you're not into the 18-30s type holidays still worth a visit.  Have fun,
