Corfu vs. Santorini?

I am thinking about taking a vacation to Greece and cannot decide whether to visit Corfu or Santorini. Santorini seems gorgeous in the pictures, but is it a good place to swim? And, the town of Corfu seems a bit boring? But, it also seems like a great place to swim?

definately 100% santorini.  I cannot stress this enough!! I was just in both a month ago.

santorini is picture perfect! and there is amazing swimming! You can take a day trip on a boat to swim in the natural hotsprings formed by the volcanos or head to the east side of the island for the blacksand beaches.  the water is sooo warm and the weather is always beautiful.  I never ran out of things to do and places to explore and i actually though that the swimming was better here and in corfu.  If you go, make sure to hit oia for the sunset.  It is known as the most beautiful in the world.

Corfu was not as great as it had been made out to be to me. The island was beautiful, but i found it impossible to get around in. the buses only ran twice a day where i was.  the town was only worth one day to explore and the beach was nice, but nothing like santorini.

No matter what you choose, have fun!! greece is amazing.

Being a Corfiot, I will definitely suggest Corfu as the place to go, on account that there is too much to see around the island that time is never enough.

Many beautiful and different in texture beaches to go to and different things to see. As for the sunsets of Santorini, being on the right spot at the right time can be equally magnificent in Corfu as long as you know where to be.

Santorini happens to be in fashion presently so everyone feel it a duty to be there.

Anyplace you chose I'm perfectly convinced you will have great time and lots of excitement.
