  1. You understand how firing a bullet from the north pole makes it veer right.

Now fire a bullet from the south pole.  Which way does it turn?

  2. If you're standing on the North Pole, the world beneath your feet rotates counterclockwise.

If you're standing on the South Pole, the world beneath your feet rotates clockwise.

    Do you see it now?
