Cork, Ireland - where to stay?

Can anyone recommend a good hotel/B&B in the centre/lively part of Cork, with good access to public transport from airport etc.

  2. cork city is small, therefore the links to the airport are all convenient.  the only way to get to the airport is by bus [or taxi but it's expensive [10-15 euro compared with 4 eur on the bus]  as for hotels, there is the Clarion,Metropole and Issac's hotel, but they will be at least 100 euro per night.  there are many B&B's in town, especially on Maccurtain street which is a good place to stay, less than 5 mins walk to the centre of town and the same from the bus station.   the below website gives locations of different B&B's
