Corky Carroll raves Dr. Carol Jackson fixed his surfer's ear problems, is he still surfing? Anyone see him?

Q I need to get surgery on both of my ears due to the bone growth, referred to as surfers ear. I know you are familiar with this condition. I’ve been putting it off for years. Please give me the name of a doctor who specializes in this procedure. I would really appreciate it!!!

A. The best doctor for this that I know of is Dr. Carol Jackson at the Sonos Ear and Balance Center. They are right across from Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. She did mine the last time and did it right. I had the surgery before and it was done wrong and I really regretted it.

There is a guy in Santa Cruz who also is a specialist in this surgery(see below).  You could also try contacting the guys ate Docs' ProPlugs and see if the can recommend someone.

Oh yeah, Corky still surfs.  He also owns a surf school in Costa Rica.
