Question:

Corn Snake Breeding?

Yeah, I could wait, I know this, but I'm curious if there is another way, though I don't mind waiting a few years if there isn't.

My male snake is TINY compared to my female. Granted females are naturally larger than males, but >> Seriously.. he still looks only 7 month old, but he isn't. He's almost 2.

Is there anything I can possibly do?

I feed them both once a week. If feeding him more might help?

O_o;;

Thanks x]

  1. With Corn Snakes, the Male is generally larger then the female, contrary to other species of snake. It may take another year for your male to reach a considerable size. Just feed him like you would usually, snakes grow at their own pace, he may just be a slow developer.

    Thats a link that'll tell you ALL you need to know about breeding corn snakes.

  3. You might want to get some expert advice from the breeders on the corn forum.  Many times the male is smaller than the female.  It is important to make sure she is old enough and weighs enough before breeding.
