  1. You may be moving to fast. Both my cat and my iguana run or freak out when I move past/toward them too fast. Move slowly and tap something in th cage so she knows your there before you reach in. I always make a noise before picking up my ig or else he'll take off.

Also, if she just ate you should leave her alone for a few days, but if she's hungry then maybe she thinks your food or wants food.

It can also be her personality. Sometimes you jsut get moody animals and you can't change that about them. My ig is moody, he doesn't like to be held some days or just after he ate so yeah, it could just be her. Just handle her more (but not too much) and she should start to warm up to you.

    Good luck!

Oh yeah! I just thought of something else. She maybe shedding or about to shed. My ig bites me (well he tries) when I hold him while he's shedding. try putting her in some warm water and let her swim around for few minutes.

  2. Almost every baby corn is nippy when you first get them. It may be a little scared. Everything should go back to normal in around 2 weeks. All snakes bite. Wouldn't you be scared if a giant came torwards you and picked you up..?
