Corn snake puffing throat up when handeled HELP!!!!?

we have a 2yr old snow corn snake male and when we handel it will puff its throat out and opens its mouth rarely there is no dischage or wheezin. it eats and is active not sluggish all in all a very healty snake pls help i do have expierience with herps so im not new its not sick but i want to know if any one has seen this behavior

  1. It is not a normal behavior in a cornsnake. Some snakes will puff out and open their mouths in a defensive posture, but I've never seen a cornsnake do that.  I would have it checked by the vet to rule out a foreign body in the mouth or throat.
