Corn syrup/oil??????????

Question

I want to make some fake blood and the recipe says you need corn syrup but its probably American and I've never heard of it. i can get corn oil, is that the same?

They are not the same thing.  Corn oil is much more fluid.  Corn syrup is very thick, it is normally sold under the name brand of KARO  and there is either light or dark colored.  I normally find it by the regular pancake syrup.
