  1. Brake before the turn.... accelerate through it.

Remember that a bike is counter steered.   Turn towards the outside of the curve.  That will cause the bike to lean which is what you want it to do.

  2. As an extra pointer..... remember that when you start to accelerate out of the corner the front goes light as the power lifts the front forks. too much throttle and its gravel rash time.

  3. dont slow down., also when you lean the bike into the turn put weight on the outside peg and elbows up and look ahead.

  4. There are 3 steps really to cornering.

Step 1. You want to make sure you are going slow enough as you approach the corner.  A good rule of thumb on speed is "If you were coasting around the corner you wouldn't crash".  In other words Slow down BEFORE entering the corner.

Step 2. Entering the corner.  Now you are entering the corner and you don't need to slow down in the corner see?  You never want to have to slow down in a corner or turn as its more dangerous.  So if you did step 1 right NOW as you are in the corner you can accellerate gently and smoothly.

In fact, the bike grips better while doing that then if you were coasting.  When the tire has power to them the tires act like little gyro-scopes actually keeping the bike more upright than if you coasted or braked during the cornering.

Step 3.  Now as you accellerate through the corner or even keep a steady accelleration, you'll notice more grip as you come out of the corner you smoothly straighten up out of the turn.

I know what happens to you though it happens to me also.  You have some jackass following you and he is riding you in his car.  Well when he gets to the corner he brakes but he has 4 tires and 4 is better than 2.

So don't let folks riding you from behind pressure you into doing something dangerous.

What I do, and it helps, is slow down when I see the curve coming so the guy behind me has to slow a bit and then I accellerate quickly and as I approach the corner I coast or brake right before going into the corner as you see above.

  5. There is no one answer. Different types of turns call for different techniques. Wiggy made a great suggestion, try to find a racing school. Even go and watch some races if you have a local track nearby. You can learn a lot just by watching others.

  6. Practice.

The more you do it, the more you will learn from your mistakes.

Try doing some track days and a race school.

  7. sorry dont know how to drive

  8. Practice     you need to drop speed into the corner then in the apex hit the throttle to shoot out of the corner but you need to know your corner

  9. remember to counter-steer.  Look ahead, and break as you enter corner and accelerate out.  And practice.
