Corona, Riverside or San Bernardino?

I may be moving for work and it looks like I'll have a choice between these cities. I'm a 30 yr old single professional and I like to be around nightlife and action. Right now, I live in Royal Oak - a trendy suburb outside of Detroit - and I like it. Are any of these cities remotely close to what I'm looking for? Are there any other areas close by that I should consider?

  1. I lived in Corona for 12 years (moved last year), and that is definitely the city you want!  It's one of the more "upscale" areas of Riverside County, with homes that go to $1million+.  You want Corona that's SOUTH of the 91 freeway, and particulary SOUTH of Chase Avenue.  Go south (from the 91) on the 15, and get off on El Cerrito and go west;  or off at Weirick......  It's alot less smoggy there, and can be 5-10 degrees cooler than more inland.  Also, it's just over the hill from Orange County, where you can go to party ......You do NOT want to move to San Bernardino!

  2. Heck to the no... Good luck moving from a trendy suburb to Corona, Riverside or San Berna-ghetto.  Riverside is probably your best bet considering the renovations and face lifts the city is going through... San Berna-ghetto? Well, if you keep tabs on the news you'll note they're competing with Detroit for the most violence..
