Agree it has been going on prior to the civil war. How do you think the railroads were built? Government helped the railroad companies remove people from their land.

The answer is simple , government will help a corporation because Lots of people work for said corporation , and those people are votes

It won't end as long as the same corporations and lobbyists have control of our main stream media.  That way they control who we elect as president and congressman.  Thank God for the internet... until they take it away from us too.

All the "top tier" candidates... they are all for maintaining the status quo.

How can a man talk about "change" all election long, but not really have any real change in his platform?

How can the sheep vote for more of the same?

We live in a fascist dictatorship. We live in a communist country. Just like Russia, except we have the illusion of choice because we have a 2-party system instead of a 1 party system like the soviets.

Our 2 parties are both just like their 1 party... the Communist Party(s).

Americans are complacent because they have no clue what's really happening. They go through their lives just trying to get by, which is harder and harder every year, completely oblivious to what their federal government is doing. So... you guys just keep voting for who they tell you to vote for on TV. That's exactly what they want.

Go to the Council on Foreign Relations website ( http://www.cfr.org ) and type in "North American Union" into the search bar. Look at some of the speeches and papers, particularly the ones by Robert A. Pastor, and you'll find that they are working toward merging the U.S. with Canada and Mexico in an EU-style North American Union (NAU).

This group is the real power behind our government. The CFR has 100's of the most important people in our country (and others), mainly politicians and wealthy corporation owners. Some people say they want one-world government, some say that's just a conspiracy.

But... If you look at the policies they are implementing in our country and around the world, and you think about how sneakily they are pulling off this NAU thing, I don't think there can be any other conlusion other than they are trying to erode our sovereignty and get rid of the U.S. altogether.

By the way, Hillary, Obama, McCain... all CFR shills.

Until we realize that the elites in this country are just like the elites throughout history... tyrants... then we're screwed.

Untill greed and the almighty dollar are used for the good of the people and not for padding there pockets,we will be in this same boat! These people have it there heads that they need all this money to die with? You cant take it with you! They look for only themselves,and not the will of the people! Look at the oil companies, they post billions in profits,and we still pay close to 4 bucks a gallon? We as a nation should stand up and say,if you get caught lobbing for what you can get in your pocket, than you will feel the same wrath as you put us in! You can get welfare,but only for 6 months,and then see if they can live the life of luxury? to be very honest,i feel very sorry for these people,who live in a world of fantasy!

It wont unless WE put an end to it.  It sounds impossible and I don't really know how one would start but its sad that we don't even try or that we don't think we could. This government was intended for the people by the people and it will take all the people to make our government the way it should be.  But until we all ban together, no, I don't think it will ever end.
