Planning for a day out in chennai . Would like to know about good places for taking my team out

  1. ECR(hire an bungalow)preferably on the beach side or Mahabalipuram.

    Or you can visit an orphanage if you are socially minded.

    Pulicat lake is also good but for the travel time involved.

ECR is full of resorts and hangouts, if you want to freakout whole day doing nothing but watching movies, bowling allays, shopping - go to MAYAJAAL.  Just want to relax get into any of the resort and relax - For luxury GRT Templebay is the best with infinity pool. You can choose Taj's Fishcove also if you got the money. If you are looking for budget then there are plenty resorts available.  Even Tents are available for rent. Muthukadu is for backwater sports.
