I just purchased this crankset,

http://www.backcountry.com/store/ZIP0019/Zipp-Speed-Weaponry-300-Road-Crankset.html

but there was an error in the description and they said that it did not infact come with a Bottom Bracket..

So can someone please help me find one that would work with this crank ?

thanks ! :D

  1. umm first you would have to know what bb ur frame is,

however you will also need to know the diameter of the spindle

  2. Zipp cranks use standard ISIS bottom brackets.  You can get them at your LBS or from any number of online sellers, including eBay merchants and Amazon.

  3. Unfortunately many cranksets don't come with bottom brackets. You will have to find out the size of the bottom bracket shell in millimeters, the spindle width, and what type of attachment method. It appears that correct type of BB is the ISIS standard. That's a good thing for stiffness. I highly recommend you wait for the package to see if it does come with the BB. The Zipp website seems to indicate that it does. Sheldon Brown out up a great site for all things bike tech related. And last but not least, if in doubt, go to your local bike shop. BB's are not something to mess around with unless skilled.
