Which is considered more grammatically correct?

"I and my mom..."

or

"My mom and I..."

  1. Both are correct, but you will hear "My mom and I" way more often.  It flows better that way.

    Regarding what another writer told you, when deciding between "me" and "I", just complete the sentence in singular form.  For example  "My mom and I went to the movies" vs "My mom and me went to the movies."   Break it down:......My mom went to the movies.  I went to the movies.  NEVER Me went to the movies.
