Correct Snorkel equipment?

Question

I'm going to the Maldives on holiday. Obviously i'm going to be snorkeling and i would like to take my own mask and snorkel. The trouble is i don't know what to buy. Can anybody advise me as to what is a decent set to buy bearing in mind i'll probably only use it for this holiday so it should be at a reasonable price. I know you get what you pay for etc.
