1000 bytes is 1 megabyte 1000 megabytes is 1 gigabyte 1000 gigabytes is 1 terabyte....

if the file is 999 mb or smaler it is smaler than a 1gb file but some files are listed as 1000+ mb ie 1500 mb this would be bigger than 1 gb. so its realy how the file is labeled that makes one bigger than the other.

It depends. How much. 2000MB are bigger than 1 GB. 1GB=1024MB.

Also I am sure u must hav noticed ur hardisk size is mentioned in GB and not MB :)
