Correction in passport or transfer visa?

Dear sir im workin in UAE & still I have valid visa till 2010.

1. im working in UAE & still i have valid visa.there is some clarkial mistke in my passport,my acctual Date of birth 07031974 but in my passport Date of birth 07031972,now i want to make correction of Date of birth in my passport,is it possible how kindly please tell me & if I get new passport from passport office than how can transfer visa in new passport & from where please kindly show me proper way.(right now im in INDIA on vacation)

2. or if I want to make correction in my passport from UAE than which document required from which department..

if u change in india, then u have to go to UAE embassy to change the visa too.  this is complicated. they may think u try to cheat.

better to do  in india and when u r in UAE, its more cmplicated as u hv to go to India embassy to change it. they hv to check with passport office in india again etc etc
