how safe is it?

how old do you have to be to get it?

how bad does your vision have to be in order to be qualified?

  1. price varies, it's very safe, not sure about age, usually only lasts about 10 years, worse than 20/20 vision.


  2. There a quite a few types of corrective eye surgery. Prices can range from a few hundred to a few thousand. Because it's very common now, it's considered relatively safe. There are risks, as with any type of surgery, but the risks are low and minor. As for age, I know that our doctors want at least 3 years of a stable refraction. You shouldn't really look into it until you're at least 18. Your eyes change dramatically as you grow up. Nothing lasts a lifetime. Even with corrective surgery, your eyes age. Most people need to use reading glasses when they reach their 40's and up, even though they've had LASIK.
