  1. Go to an eye doctor - and a cheap place to get glasses is zennioptical.com.  Make sure you measure everything - like MM listed on the site is a tenth of a CM.

  2. Yes, you need to go to an eye doctor.  That is the only way to be sure you are getting the right kind of lens.  If you are concerned about the cost, and don't have vision insurance there are lots of places that do cheaper exams like Sears and Walmart.

  3. Yeah, you need to make an appointment with a eye doctor.  Or you can go to a place like lenscrafters, costco, or walmart.

They all have the service to.  Then once you get your eyes checked they will get you some corrective lenses.  Good luck.

  4. you need to see an eye doctor..   first of all do you need them? or is this a fashion statement (i.e changing your eye color)  when you see the eye doctor you need to have a contact lense fitting and they will show you how to put them in make you do it and get the measurements and prescription for your eyes so they can get the correct contacts.  I will tell you they are not cheap.. Look at spending anywhere from 200-400 dollars when all is said and done.
