Corrig Button likely to prevail in the Grade A4 race at Perry Barr
J. Smith’s trained greyhound, Corrig Button, is expected to dominate the proceedings in the 480 metres, Grade A4 flat race at Perry Barr in England on Sunday, February 19, 2012. The cash prize of winning the event is £55.
The favourite greyhound has been performing consistently well over the past few months and his trainer will be expecting him to deliver the same sort of results today as well. He finished third in his previous outing and has been given a starting price of
11 to 4 by the bookmakers.
The black and white dog is the son of Droopys Vieri out of Corrig Rebel and was born in November 2009.
Another greyhound expected to make an impression today is, Ballymac Waters. His last few outings have produced some inconsistent results, but it does not mean that he will not be able to fight for victory at Perry Barr.
S. Ralph’s trained b***h has been given a starting price of 3 to 1 today, but the bettors might be a touch hesitant to invest money on him, as he finished sixth in his previous outing.
The brindle coloured b***h is the daughter of Kinloch Brae out of Ballymac Vicky and was born in June 2010.
Maxilla Monty, trained by J. White, has also been given a starting price of 3 to 1 for the race today. He has got some momentum going his way, but needs one impressive victory to encourage the punters to put more money on him.
The brindle coloured dog finished runner up in his last race and his trainer will be expecting him to press harder this time around.
The brindle coloured dog is the son of Hondo Black out of Cloheena Blonde and was born in September 2008.
Holland’s trained b***h, Melview Mia, will enter the race with a starting price of 9 to 2. She has been doing well in Grade A5 and has the ability to perform decently in this class as well. She is the daughter of Trendy Leigh out of Holston River and was
born in April 2008.
Ninian Blueboy will also enter the event with a starting price of 9 to 2. He will need a clear run to challenge the front runners today. Another greyhound with a similar starting price is, Luana, who is looking for some form over the past few events.
Corrig Button seems in a good position to win today. However, he will need a good start in order to gain advantage over Ballymac Waters.
