The little girl used in the opening ceremony to sing was lip-synching to another girl's voice. The Games' organisers did not want to use the real singer because she was "chubby-faced and buck-toothed."

That's the worst thing I can think of.

Watch the games, listen to the announcers, listen to the guy who's been involved with gymnastics for 40 years. They've all pointed out the bad judging. Anyone who can watch will see that one is better then the other, yet the wrong person gets a better score.

This is why I tend to only like the events that have a verifiable winner like a track and field race. They either come in first or they don't. It's not a subjective score given by an inexperienced judge using convoluted rules.

china's using underage girls for women's gymnastics...china happen to have more gold medals just cuz they happen to have a chinese judge for every single event that their in.
