Corsica..suggestions!?

Where should I absolutely go, what Must be seen..I want to know everything you know!!

You HAVE to see Bonifacio. It's a gorgeous town on a huge cliff where the Foreign Legion used to be stationed. Also, go inland to the rivers that are crystal clear and the huge rocks form perfect "pools".

My favorite place is Calvi. Go up to the old "citadelle" or fortress and look out over the bay. Stay there and have a drink at Chez Tao, a cool club in the citadelle owned by 3 Russian/Corsican brothers that has been there forever. If you go on a night that Taoby is playing piano, you're in for a great time.

Another must is at least one meal at Hotel La Villa in Calvi. Everything is delicious, a little pricy but worth every euro. Have the chocolate volcano cake for dessert, it's the best I've had anywhere in the world.

this islnd is very small, so you should be able to see the seaside and beaches, and also go up on the really nice mountains and see the french coutryside, montain life !!
