  1. It's not that easy.

You will need to change your rear axles too.

  2. As others have already said, this is no easy, bolt on type of job. There is a company called Wheel Vintiques that makes reproduction Corvette style rally wheels as well as many other designs. They have them in many different bolt patterns, diameterss and widths to fit just about any application.

They are a little on the expensive side, but, when you consider what it would take to make the Vette rims fit your truck, you will probably be better off using them.

They are available from places like Summit and Jegs, or can be bought directly from the manufacturer.

  3. .You can run reversed rally chrome rims, with small hubcaps. I am running 10-8's on my 69 Chevy truck

  4. heres the right answer---- if you have a truck with a 5 on 5 pattern the 5 on 4 3/4'' wheel will not fit your truck.  you can use adaptors as you mentioned but, it will space the wheel out quite a ways and they may rub. (you know this).  you can have the bolts moved to 5 on 4 3/4'' on your hubs and axles by having them re-drilled or have a set of adaptors made from steel and not aluminum.!  this way they can be much thinner and leave you some room.. there is no "hub" that i know of that will take the place of your truck hubs without a spindle change too.. then you may have to do the ball joints and so on if it requires new upper and or lower arms to do it.  you can also have the wheels bolt holes elongated  like a multi-fit wheel if, there is room for that on those wheels. good luck
