  1. OK, I know how to read your question now. Prove that

    cos/sec - sin/cot = (cos cot - tan) / csc

    Left side:

    cos/sec - sin/cot

    = cos/(1/cos) - sin/(cos/sin)

    = cos^2 - sin^2/cos

    = (cos^3 - sin^2)/cos

    Right side:

    (cos cot - tan) / csc

    = (cos cos/sin - sin/cos) / csc

    = (cos^2/sin - sin/cos) / csc

    = [(cos^3 - sin^2) / sin cos] / (1/sin)

    = (cos^3 - sin^2)/cos

    Left side = Right side
