Cosmetic facial surgery?

my wife had a facelift (upper blasfemy?) & eyelift yesterday...her eyelids are stitched & she has stitches to the front of each ear & stiches to the rear...has anyone had this done & how long was the recovery...can you apply anything to reduce bruises & swelling

i don't know how long until the swelling goes down(i think its 4 weeks at the most). it doesn't take too long to be able to do stuff again
