Cosmetics for a film?

I am helping out my friend by being in his student film, and he says that I need to do my makeup "for camera". I don't know what brands/products to use, and how to do it "for camera". Any suggestions for what products to use is very appreciated!

Most of the time, the camera will somewhat drown out the color in your face. I recommend using more bronzer and blush than you usually would. For your lips, use a richer matte lipstick, and on your eyes, use a chunkier eyeliner.

If this is too much, I suggest something like Max factor cake pan foundation, it gives a heavier coverage and you can set it with a white translucent powder.
