Cosplay, crossplay?

i know what cosplay is, dressing up as people from manga/anime and going to conventions and stuff...

but what is crossplay?

Crossplay is basically dressing up as a male character when you yourself are female and vise versa. I wouldn't reccommend doing it unless you know its accepted at the convention you're going to though.

I suppose dressing up as a girl when you're a boy, and the other way around?
