How can someone become a professional cosplay model?

I am not japanese...but I would like to do it.

You should start by attending as many anime conventions as possible and entering Cosplay competitions everywhere you go.

Make the best cosplay possible for yourself or buy some high quality cosplay here:

You should set up a website with a blog (not just a blog) for yourself and take lots of pictures of your self and put them into a gallery.  

Many of the top Cosplay models get there just by putting themselves out there with awesome cosplay.

I know the guys at the link above do a cosplay competition.  You should consider sending them a pic to see what they think.
