Cosplaying Tips? Death Note?

Question

I already ask this question, But i didnt get that many answers. So i am going to try in another category.

My friend and i were talking about costumes for halloween.

She didnt know what to dress as.

But she wants something gothic.

Since we both like Death Note

I told her we could dress as the characters from Death Note. She could be Misa and i was thinking of L.

My main problem is my hair. I have it down to the middle of my back and i have my bangs are pinkish.

I dont know if i am going to be able to get a wig or even cut it.

If i do happen to cut it. I dont think i would have the guts dye my bangs black. hehehe

Any advice or tips would be very appreciated.

The best thing for you is a the wig because as it is your hair is not meant to be as the l from the anime is (the one for the movie suck in my eyes) So ebay may come in verry handy to try and find what you want, your eyes are perfect for the l chracter.So just go for the wig after all this aint permanent it is just a cossplay.

& One small detail, pease don't put your self images all over the internet you know more than i do about them Stalkers who wait just to find the right pray. Sticking humans.

Sorry to sound a bit dramatic lol Have a nice coplay and remember also acting like L not just looking like him is the key in a cossplay

maybe you should go with the wig...it would be best and might resemble L more. i watched L from the anime and he was the reason i watched deathnote..i was sad when he died though...:(

durin halloween season all the stores that have costumes have wigs for about 5 dollars each that are the same length as your hair. cut those...even though no one will recognise you

You should probably find a wig if you're hesitant with your hair. Many cosplayers cut their own wigs. You could probably commission a wig from one of them (and have them make it) or you could follow a tutorial (and make it yourself). There are also wigs on sale on the internet (like on eBay).

Even though this is a tutorial for a Sasuke wig, most of the tips can be used for L because of the similar hairstyle:
