I like to introduce cost control and cost reduction in some of our procurement centers. Before I suggest the scheme, I would like to present data with workings so as enable the management to understand.

Cost Management report ?

I have collected cost data for certain period of our operations. It is fish processing units. Kindly help - Sample report of similer industry, Sample working and comments. Thank you in advance

What's the objective of your reports? what sort of outcome you're trying to understand & then implement? Provide more detail & probably I can help you.

My 2 cents.

I can take different approach here. I would try to present the cost into FC & VC and highlights where deficiencies between similar type of cost exists between centers.

I would probably also drill around to highlight the fact that most probably different vendors are used instead of 1 vendor (& obtain economic order quantity) to benefit the company more with lower rate.

You can also try to use ABC approach & sets standard activity rate and highlights why there are differences in those activity cost for each centers.
