How Much Would It Cost From South Derby To Northampton By Train?? (Return Ticket)

Check prices on www.trainline.co.uk  -  I just booked Ipswich to Wigan - return fare c. £ 56.00 advance booking.

Through trainline, I booked the same journey with 2 single tickets for a total of £ 21.80!!

Cheap Day Return is around £25, open return is £31.

I don't know what station you want but i did a search at www.nationalrail.co.uk and got the price £24.60 I'd check yourself though just to get the right stations etc.  Have a nice trip if it is you going!

If you go onto www.nationalrail.co.uk and do a search it should bring it up.

They have a sale on ticket prices at the moment

Go onto www.thetrainline.co.uk  if you book in advance its cheaper. Also look at getting 2 single tickets

Open return (peak return) £31.60

Off course those are non railcard discounted fares.

I have also checked and this is the cheapest way of making the journey.

There are no advance purchase fares for this route, unless you go Derby to Birmingham NS and then Birmingham NS to Northampton. But this would work out more expensive (£26 return) and you would have to stick to the times on your ticket.
