  1. I don',t know what a viscous coupler is . If you are refering to the coupler between the engine and outdrive ,the engine has to be pulled  and the outdrive also if there isn't enough clearance for the engine to come out .The outdrive is easy to remove but the engine requires more work .I would estimate about $ 500 in and out
