Bahamas is way too expensive, trust me. a bottle of Gatorade(32 FL oz) would cost you about 4.50 . Its too touristy even for tourist. hotels are even more expensive, better of going to Jamaica where $1 usd- $72 Jm ...you get a better value for money, better and more variety of food and music.

almost everything in Bahamas is way more expensive than in the US.  The US dollar can be used just like the Bahamian dollar in the Bahamas.

No, Bahamas is waaay more touristey than Jamaica is. Prices are cheaper here, although we have less value on our dollar it works out that things are cheaper, based on the exchange rate. $72 to $1 US
