Cost of A.C train ticket from Delhi to Kolkotta? Can I pay by VISA card? Days before travel to book?

I wish to travel with my wife from Delhi on 4 October to Kolkotta by an A.C train service. I would like as much info on train times and where to purchase ticket and how many days before to secure seats.

The cost of A/C ticket is Rs. 1652/- You can book your tickets online using credit card in www.irctc.co.in .you need to register first and booktickets. You can book your tickets upto 60 days in advance from your date of travel.
