  1. Hi,

Kitten vaccines does vary form place to place in the UK. It also depneds on whether you have just the tri cat vaccine ( against Flu and entertitis) or whether you choose to have the cat vaccinated against Lukaemia too.. If you cat is going to go out side I would recommend both the tri cat and the lukaemia jab.

Injection are done at 9 weeks, followed by a booster 3 weeks later .. some vets charge for each injection others will charge for the course of injectionS.

Rough estimate for each injection £17 for the tricat £22 for the luk . paying for the course all in one go is normally entitles you to a discount.

vets 4 pets seem to be the cheapest , they were doing a vaccine incentive a few months ago where you pay for the kitten first years course and they will give the kittn his/her yearly boosters for free.. I don't know if that deal is still on.. it might be worth checking out.

Neutering again depends..standard prices about £30 male and £40 female.. but vets will try and get you to spend more money .. They will ask if you want your kitten to be blood tested prior to altering .so that they can see if hsi/her kidneys are working properly....they ask if you want a  quick acting anaesthic , so that the kitten comes around quicker and doesn't have a hang over effect.. they also ask whether you want a side incision on the female or a midline incision .. Midline is more expensive and preferred by people that show there cats.. why because they say that if the cut along the side there is a chance that the cats hair could grow back a different colour , making the cat no good for showing.

  2. I'm in Norfolk and the prices sound about the same as London. Neutering for my male and female kittens was £25 (male) and £30 (female). The vaccinations come to £48 for each (as another poster said, they have to have these yearly).

  3. Well for my kittens it was about £30 or something like that it cost me £100 to buy them (a female and male).

    Hope this helps

  4. Remember you need to get your cats revaccinated each year, about £50 per cat in London.
