When we had the last big increase in fuel cost all the Road Haulage Companies came out on strike bloked depots ec ect, how come they have taken no action this time is it because they did a secrete deal with the goverment and can claim back most of the tax they pay, we should be more like the French ( as far as this is concerned only) and all strike make people listen we are so tied up now in looking after number one we are letting the governement walk all over us, united we stand divided we fall and that's just what has happened.

  1. the price of diesel at the moment in Bradford is scandalous!! £1.05p its got to in some places!!

    xx

  2. It has a lot to do with the yanks and their war in iraq but also the companys do get a lot of tax deducted now hopefully another strike soon.

£1.10 a liter its like liquid gold!

  3. Probably cause this is not a tax induced increase.  Down to world oil prices. Nothing you can do  really,,, As an individual  it makes less than a £1 more a week , so why bother,

  4. Its dog eat dog world. I have shares in fuel so the higher it goes the better I say. The strong survive an the weak get left behind thats the way its always being an will be.

  5. Unfortunately people are not allowed to protest without stricked guidelines and permission, as we all know what the police will do, bring out the guns and think you are being a terrorist.

Its all just companies legally getting your money under the global warming excuse. Funny they charge all this money and say they are spending lots on greener development, but we still have internal combustion engines that use fossil fuels, when the technology is there to change all that, but why dont they, because its making them very fat cats

  6. Maybe its a mixture of bad relations with countries that do have oil - other than America - it is a price we will have to pay for being big bullies in the playground.

Also there is the fact that here in the UK the majority are lazy a little grumble over their beer and a quick swig makes them forget all the troubles

Oh yeah and because UK law is based on the ignorance of the people - you didn't hear a big up roar when your right to silence was taken away....

Must go the head is disappearing on my pint

  7. No, you are wrong.

The fuel blockades are impossible now due to changes in the anti terrorism laws. If we try anthing similar again we can be locked up without charge and treated like suicide bombers. Our phones have been bugged, and warnings issued.

Sorry, but our government have pulled a fast one and removed our right to protest. The french have the right idea.
