Cost of Short Term Disability through Aflac?

Question

I loathe calling insurance companies for quotes. Does anyone know how much Short term disability through Aflac would cost (looking for rough figure here)

Interested in purchasing it since i only work part time and will not be offered paid maternity leave in the future. (not currently pregnant)

Well you need to determine how long  you wish to be paid, you can choose a couple of months to a couple of years.  If your just worried about maternity leave I'd say no longer than 6 months or so, the more time you wish to be paid the more it cost.  I was just listening to our Aflac lady talking to a guy that works here is the only reason I know this.  She told him to decide how long he wants to be paid then she would work him up a quote on her computer.  He's in his 50's and it was about 40 something a week for 24 months.  If your young you can figure it will probably be a lot less and the length could be a lot shorter.  I would say about 20 dollar a week or less, but don't take that to the bank, check it out for yourself.  Have a good day.
